What Heliconia Provides for Wholesalers and Distributors

Heliconia implements Odoo as the inventory and order backbone of a distribution business (purchasing and replenishment, multi-warehouse stock, customer-specific pricing, high-volume order processing, picking, packing and shipping, and accounting) and builds the B2B layer on top: customer portals where trade buyers quote and order, catalog apps for the field, and integrations with carriers and suppliers.

Distribution is an inventory problem before it's anything else: what's where, what's promised, what's on order, and at what cost. Odoo Inventory models locations, routes, lots and reservations well. The work is configuring it for your network, setting the replenishment and pricing rules that reflect your commercial reality, and giving customers a way to order that doesn't go through a phone call.

Ask a question

Can Odoo manage inventory across multiple warehouses?

Yes. Odoo Inventory models multiple warehouses and locations, routes, transfers, lots and serials, reservations and forecasts. Jo Ann’s runs stock across four island entities on one Odoo platform.

Can customers place B2B orders themselves?

Yes. Odoo’s customer portal supports quotations and orders. We have extended it so customers edit quantities on quotations (Wild Cloud) and built a Flutter catalog app on Odoo over GraphQL for trade buyers (Ramdev Kangan).

Ramdev Kangan case study

Can Odoo handle customer-specific pricing?

Yes. Pricelists per customer or group, volume and packaging rules, and, where catalogs are large, tools we built to duplicate and maintain pricelists and BOMs efficiently.

Can we sell wholesale and retail from the same system?

Yes. Spicy Organic sells direct-to-consumer through Shopify and in bulk to wholesale customers from one Odoo catalog with packaging variants and separate pricing.

Does Odoo integrate with carriers and suppliers?

Carrier and fulfilment integrations are configured or built per provider, and supplier integration or EDI is custom integration work. We confirm each connector before committing to it.
