What we help with

What Can We Help With?

The problems that arrive with an existing Odoo system, and what we do about each.

  • Bug fixes

Investigate and resolve production issues in standard Odoo, custom modules or integrations, with the root cause written down.

  • Custom development

New features, workflows and reports as the business changes, built to the same upgrade-safe standard as a new implementation.

  • Performance

Slow views, long-running reports, heavy cron jobs, database growth: profiled, indexed, tuned or re-architected.

  • Integrations

Maintain and improve payment, storefront, CRM, SMS and API integrations as the systems on either side change.

  • Upgrades

Prepare custom modules and integrations for the next version and run the migration when you're ready.

  • Data

Corrections, imports, clean-ups and migration-related issues, done through Odoo's logic rather than the database.

  • Security and access

Access rights, record rules, operating-unit restrictions, IP/MAC controls and periodic review.

Not Sure What's Wrong With Your Odoo System?

Before support starts on a system we didn't build, we assess it. You get a findings report ranked by risk, and a support plan that starts with what matters most.

Support models

Three Ways to Work With Us

  • Ad hoc support

For occasional technical issues on a stable system. Time-based, no commitment, prioritised as capacity allows.

  • Monthly support

A retained allocation each month for maintenance, fixes, small enhancements and monitoring, with agreed response targets. The model most of our long-term clients use.

How support runs

Monitor, Identify, Prioritize, Resolve, Improve

Support is a loop, not a queue. Each cycle should leave the system better than it found it.

  1. Monitor

Error logs, cron health, integration queues, performance metrics and backups watched continuously on retained engagements.

  2. Identify

Issues reported by users or caught by monitoring are reproduced and traced to a cause: standard Odoo, custom code, data or integration.

  3. Prioritize

Business impact first: production-blocking, degraded, cosmetic. Agreed priority levels and response targets, communicated on a shared channel.

  4. Resolve

Fix in version control, tested on staging, with the root cause and any data correction documented.

  5. Test and deploy

Reviewed and deployed in an agreed window (Odoo.sh branch flow, cloud or on-premise) with a rollback path.

  6. Improve

Recurring issues become backlog items: a refactor, a monitoring rule, an upgrade. The loop closes.

Response and communication

How We Handle Priority and Response

We don't publish a one-size service-level agreement, because response targets should match the criticality of your system and the model you choose. What every retained engagement has: agreed support hours, defined priority levels (production down, degraded, minor, request), response targets per level, a named escalation contact, and a shared channel where progress is visible.

Where a formal SLA is required (regulated environments, multi-entity retail, partner contracts) we write one into the agreement with you.

Beyond maintenance

Support Should Not Mean Keeping an Old System Alive Forever

The reason to have engineers behind your Odoo is that the same team can take it forward. This is the path our long-term support engagements follow.

  1. Step 01

    Support

Stabilize: fix what breaks, monitor what matters, stop the recurring pain.

  2. Step 02

    Technical debt

Address the findings from the audit (core edits, untested modules, fragile integrations) in priority order.

  3. Step 03

    Modernization

Replace what shouldn't have been custom with configuration or OCA. Refactor what stays.

  4. Step 04

    Upgrade

With clean, tested modules, the version upgrade becomes a planned project rather than a risk.

  5. Step 05

    New capabilities

Headless frontends, mobile apps, automation, new business lines, built on a system that can now carry them.

Long-Term Support Engagements

Every one of these is an ongoing relationship measured in years, not tickets.

First-party experience

What Supporting Production Odoo Has Taught Us

  1. 01

Most "Odoo bugs" reported by users are data or configuration. The fix is fast. Finding the cause without a reproduction isn't. Monitoring pays for itself here.

  2. 02

A system inherited from another partner needs an audit before it needs a fix. Otherwise the first ticket becomes archaeology.

  3. 03

Performance issues grow with data. The query that was fine at go-live is the one that times out two years later. Retained support catches it before users do.

  4. 04

Support without an upgrade path is a slow decline. The engagements that work are the ones where the roadmap includes the next version.

Ask a question

What does Odoo support include?

Bug fixes, custom development, performance optimization, integration maintenance, data corrections, deployment and hosting support, security review and version upgrades: on Community or Enterprise, Odoo.sh, cloud or on-premise.

The exact scope is set by the support model: ad hoc, monthly retained or dedicated team.

Can you support an Odoo system built by another company?

Yes. We start with a technical audit of the existing system (custom modules, integrations, performance, upgrade readiness) and then support and improve it from there. Inherited systems are a normal starting point.

Odoo consulting and assessments

Can you fix custom Odoo modules you didn't write?

Yes. Custom modules are reviewed, fixed and, where they block upgrades, refactored or replaced, with your agreement on each.

Odoo customization

Do you support Odoo Community?

Yes. We support both editions. Hi-Tech Alloys runs on Odoo 16 Community under our ongoing support.

Odoo Community

Do you support Odoo Enterprise and Odoo.sh?

Yes. Opsio, Jo Ann's, Freiburger Bund and Aria Jewellers run Enterprise. ERP Happy's client environments run on Odoo.sh, where we handle branches, builds and version management.

Odoo Enterprise

Do you provide monthly Odoo support?

Yes. Monthly retained support, a fixed allocation with agreed response targets and monitoring, is the model most of our long-term clients use.

Can you help with Odoo upgrades?

Yes. Preparing custom modules and integrations for the next version is part of support, and the migration itself runs as a planned project when you're ready.

Odoo migration services

Can you troubleshoot Odoo performance issues?

Yes. Slow views, reports and jobs are profiled to the query or the module responsible and fixed through indexing, query changes, caching or re-architecture, not by adding hardware first.

Can you maintain Odoo integrations?

Yes. Payment, storefront, CRM, SMS and API integrations are monitored and maintained as the systems on both sides change, with reconciliation to catch silent drift.
