Connect the Systems Your Business Already Runs On

CRM to ERP, storefront to fulfilment, payments to accounting, a legacy database to a new app: any two systems that need to talk, connected through the right method for the job and engineered to fail loudly, retry safely and reconcile automatically.

The general case

Integration as an Engineering Discipline

API integration connects two or more software systems so data and events flow between them automatically: orders from a storefront into an ERP, leads from a website into a CRM, payments into accounting, stock levels to a marketplace. Done well it removes re-keying and delay. Done badly it silently drops the one record in a thousand that mattered.

If your business runs on Odoo, the Odoo Integration page covers that specifically. This page is the general case: any systems, any direction, including legacy and undocumented ones, with Odoo as one participant among several when it's involved.

Integration types

Four Ways to Connect Systems, and When Each Fits

The method is a design decision, not a default. We choose per integration.

Four Ways to Connect Systems, and When Each Fits
TypeHow it worksWhen it fitsWatch out for
Point-to-point APIOne system calls the other's API directlyTwo systems, clear ownership, moderate volumeBecomes a tangle past three or four systems
Webhook / event-drivenThe source pushes events as they happenNear-real-time needs: payments, orders, status changesDuplicate deliveries, signature validation, retries
Middleware / iPaaSA hub (Zapier, custom service, queue) routes between systemsMany systems, transformations, non-developers maintaining flowsVendor limits, cost at volume, debugging across hops
Batch / ETLScheduled extraction, transformation and loadReporting, reconciliation, systems with no eventsWindow overlap, partial failures, stale data between runs

Most real integrations combine two: webhooks for the live path and a nightly batch reconciliation to catch what the live path missed.

What we connect

Systems We Have Integrated

Categories from production work. Named systems are ones we have actually connected.

  • Payments

Stripe, Razorpay (incl. subscriptions), Cashfree, Paytm POS terminals: into orders, invoices and accounting.

  • CRM and sales tools

Zoho CRM/Books, Monday.com, Calendly: leads, contacts, deals and events both ways.

  • Logistics

Shiprocket rates and labels, barcode/RFID scanners, direct printing.

  • Banking and finance

Swedbank API for statements and payments. Reconciliation into the ERP.

  • Communication

MSG91 and Twilio SMS/OTP, Firebase push, Outlook IMAP, SMTP.

  • Automation platforms

Zapier flows and custom middleware where no-code is the right tool.

  • Custom and legacy systems

Databases, file drops, SOAP, undocumented internal apps: wrapped in an API and connected safely.

Architecture

An Integration Layer Instead of a Tangle

Past two or three systems, point-to-point links multiply. An integration layer keeps rules, retries and logs in one place.

An Integration Layer Instead of a Tangle
  • Storefront + apps

    Web, mobile, marketplaces

  • Payments + logistics

    Gateways, terminals, carriers

  • CRM + SaaS + legacy

    CRM, calendars, automation, old databases

Systems of record

ERP (Odoo), custom services, finance: business rules stay where they live

Reconciliation

Scheduled comparison across systems, drift found and corrected

Reliability

What Keeps an Integration Working After Launch

  • Retries with backoff

Transient failures are retried, not lost.

  • Idempotency

A duplicated webhook creates one order, not two.

  • Queues for bursts

A sale or an import doesn't take the ERP down.

  • Logging and alerts

Every message logged with status. Failures raise alerts.

  • Reconciliation

Nightly comparison of both sides catches silent drift.

  • Contracts and versioning

API contracts documented and versioned so an upgrade on one side isn't an outage on the other.

Ask a question

Do you build custom integrations or only use existing connectors and middleware?

Both, chosen per case. Existing connectors and platforms like Zapier when they fit and someone non-technical will maintain the flow. Custom integration services when volume, reliability, transformation or a system without a connector demands it.

Can you integrate with a legacy or undocumented system?

Yes. We reverse-engineer the data model, wrap the system in a small API or scheduled extraction, and connect through that layer, so the legacy system is never touched by the other side directly.

Is this different from Odoo Integration, and which do we need?

Odoo Integration is the Odoo-specific service: connecting Odoo to everything around it, with Odoo as the system of record. This page is the general case: any systems, Odoo included as one participant. If Odoo is at the centre, start there.

Odoo integration services

How do you handle failures?

Retries with backoff, idempotent writes, dead-letter queues, logging with full payloads, alerts, and scheduled reconciliation so anything that slipped through is found.

Can integrations be real-time?

Near-real-time through webhooks and queues. Genuinely real-time features (live chat, presence) run on a dedicated Socket.IO service.

Do you maintain integrations after launch?

Yes: monitoring and maintenance as the systems on both sides change, under an ongoing engagement.
