Odoo Implementation
End-to-end Odoo implementation covering discovery, configuration, customization, migration, testing, training and go-live.
Businesses that run on what we built
Why Heliconia exists
Standard Odoo takes most businesses a long way. It stops where your process does: the foundry that has to trace a furnace heat number to every dispatched part, the retailer running four island entities with four payroll laws, the jewellers whose saving-scheme rules live in a custom module.
That's the work we do. We engineer Odoo around the way the business actually runs, from custom modules and integrations to headless storefronts, migrations and mobile apps, and every example above is a project on this site.
Odoo services
Seven services, one engineering team. Each is a dedicated page with scope, process, technology and proof.
End-to-end Odoo implementation covering discovery, configuration, customization, migration, testing, training and go-live.
Edition, architecture and scope decisions before you commit: technical assessments, audits of existing systems and migration planning.
Custom modules, business logic, workflows, automation and technical extensions built around your requirements.
Extend Odoo without compromising maintainability, upgradeability or future development.
Version upgrades, database migration, custom module compatibility and Enterprise-to-Community migration.
Connect Odoo with eCommerce platforms, payment gateways, CRMs, logistics systems, marketplaces and custom applications.
Ongoing technical support, maintenance, performance optimization, enhancements and version upgrades.
The hub: how the seven fit together, which to start with, and the projects behind each.
Why Heliconia
We work inside the Odoo Community ecosystem and contribute to the Odoo Community Association: the modules we ship follow the standards we help maintain.
Technical architecture and development are part of implementation from day one, not an afterthought once configuration runs out.
Production experience across both editions, including Enterprise-to-Community migration.
Customizations designed with future Odoo upgrades and maintainability in mind, so version migrations stay routine.
Odoo can power modern web and mobile experiences without forcing the frontend to use the standard Odoo interface.
Support doesn't stop at go-live. Our client engagements continue with enhancements, optimization, migrations and new capabilities.
Beyond standard Odoo
When configuration isn't enough, we engineer the missing layer.

Architecture
Odoo doesn't have to dictate the entire application architecture. It runs the business layer. Everything above it's chosen for the product.

Evidence
Real production systems, described specifically: version, edition, problem, solution and technology.

Healthcare association & career portal
A medical association platform where Odoo 18 Enterprise is the business backend behind a Next.js 15 web portal, React Native (Expo) iOS/Android apps, a Socket.IO messaging server and MeiliSearch: in German, English, French and Arabic.

Retail & wholesale, duty-free
Four Caribbean island entities (each with its own payroll law, currency, fiscal rules and eCommerce site) unified on one Odoo 16 Enterprise platform with a shared core and per-island customization packages.

Cloud managed services
Accounting, HR and payroll, projects and timesheets, subscriptions, helpdesk and CRM on Odoo 18 Enterprise, with custom modules migrated from earlier versions and financial reporting built for a recurring-services business.

eCommerce, baby care
A direct-to-consumer baby care brand selling through a Next.js storefront, with Odoo behind it for ERP, inventory, orders and customers: connected over GraphQL, with Cashfree payments, Shiprocket shipping and a distributor onboarding portal.

Questions
An Odoo implementation with Heliconia covers discovery, architecture, configuration, custom development where standard functionality falls short, data migration, integrations, testing and UAT, training, go-live and post-launch support.
The scope is defined per business: a single-company setup on a few apps differs from a multi-company, multi-country system with custom modules and integrations.
It depends on the number of apps, users, companies and countries, how much custom development the workflows need, data migration and integrations, and on the edition, since Enterprise carries a per-user licence and Community doesn't.
We price project work against a defined scope after discovery, and offer dedicated teams for ongoing development.
Yes. Custom module development is core to what we do: jewellery-specific inventory and saving schemes, per-island payroll and fiscal POS, cash-flow and profitability reporting, GraphQL APIs for mobile apps.
We build customizations to be upgrade-safe, so they survive version migrations.
Yes. We implement and develop on Odoo Community as well as Enterprise, and we contribute to the Odoo Community Association (OCA), whose modules extend Community significantly.
Community suits cost-sensitive or highly customized environments. We help decide which edition fits.
We work from Vadodara and Rajkot in Gujarat, India, and most of our projects are for clients elsewhere: the case studies on this site cover Germany, Sweden, the USA, the UAE, Sierra Leone, the Caribbean and India.
Engagements run remotely on your tools, with on-site visits where a project needs them.
Yes. Odoo can act as the business backend while Next.js powers a custom frontend. We use this architecture for businesses that need greater frontend control, performance, SEO flexibility or custom digital experiences.
LittleQ (headless commerce) and Freiburger Bund (member portal) on this page both run Next.js on Odoo via GraphQL and REST APIs.
Yes. We build React Native and Flutter apps that talk to Odoo through custom REST and GraphQL APIs, for example a jewellery customer app for saving-scheme enrolment, and a medical association app with push notifications and real-time messaging.
Yes. We audit the existing customizations, stabilize the system, then extend, upgrade or migrate it. Opsio's move to Odoo 18 included migrating custom modules built on earlier versions.
Ongoing engineering support covers maintenance, performance, enhancements and version upgrades.
