Jewellery retail doesn't fit standard Odoo. Aria needed daily fluctuating gold, silver and platinum rates driving prices and stock valuation. Gross, net, stone and fine-metal weight tracked per serialized RFID/barcode lot. Fast over-the-counter estimations. Old-gold trade-in and melting workflows. Monthly gold saving schemes with automated recurring payments. Branch-level operating-unit security. And a mobile shopping app kept in sync with the ERP.

The solution

We implemented Odoo Enterprise across showrooms and manufacturing and built the missing jewellery layer as custom modules: metal-rate management with automatic price calculation, item-level RFID/barcode lot tagging, estimation and quotation workflows, old-gold exchange and melting, saving-scheme subscriptions billed through Razorpay, Paytm EDC terminal integration at the counter, MSG91 OTP login, and a GraphQL API that powers the cross-platform mobile app for scheme enrolment and product browsing.

How we built it

• Implemented Odoo Enterprise ERP across fine jewellery retail showrooms and manufacturing facilities.
• Developed daily metal rate configuration and automatic price calculation engines for gold, silver, and platinum.
• Configured item-level RFID and barcode lot tagging with gross weight, net weight, fine weight, wastage, and stone weight tracking.
• Built over-the-counter estimation and quotation workflows (hspl_jewellery_estimation) with automated making charges and stone rate calculations.
• Developed old gold exchange and melting management modules (hspl_jewellery_melting) for purity testing and metal recovery tracking.
• Implemented monthly gold savings subscription schemes (hspl_jewellery_sale_subscription) with automated Razorpay recurring payment integration.
• Integrated Paytm POS EDC payment terminals for direct card and UPI payments at showroom counters.
• Built GraphQL API infrastructure (hspl_jewellery_graphql) to power cross-platform mobile shopping applications for scheme enrollment and product browsing.
• Integrated MSG91 SMS gateway and mobile OTP authentication for secure customer login and transaction verification.
• Configured multi-branch Operating Unit security rules (hspl_jewellery_operating_unit) for location-based stock and sales isolation.
• Developed employee sales incentive tracking modules (hspl_jewellery_employee_incentive) based on weight, purity, and sales target rules.
• Implemented thermal tag and receipt direct printing capabilities (hspl_report_direct_print).
